Frontend
I designed and launched a digital signature service for private users while improving workflows and usability for business solutions.
I was the only designer at Posten signering — Posten’s service for digital signatures (part of Digipost). I conducted user research and collaborated with the team and relevant stakeholders to design user-friendly workflows for secure digital signatures. My main contribution was designing and launching a new digital signature solution for private individuals, while also improving the established business service.
The challenge
Extending Posten Signering to private users required designing an accessible, user-friendly solution for a diverse audience. At the same time, I worked to enhance the established business platform to meet evolving client needs.

Digital Signatures for private contracts
I led the design and was a key contributor to building an MVP and launching Posten Signering’s first service for private individuals.
Research & Prototyping
I created early prototypes of a holistic yet basic flow that could be quickly implemeted as the MVP. There were several restrictions I had discovered from stakeholder research and technology used for. I conducted usability testing with 10 participants from the core target group to identify pain points and usability improvements before implementation.
Iterative Development
When the MVP was initially launched, I strongly argued that we needed a tight feedback loop directly from the users to the team. We implemented in-platform feedback (which was nothing the Digipost-organisation used at the time). This combined with case by case usage monitoring, ensured we could quickly identify crucial bugs and improvements in the workflow. With his setup we could embrace rapid Build-Measure-Learn cycles to iterate on the product based on data and first-hand feedback.
One of the key insights from early testing was the challenge for to make legally solid contracts. We partnered with Forbrukerrådet to integrate their contract templates as an easily accessible part of the solution to help users with this pre-signature stage of the user journey.
Building the landing page
As the few developers were busy improving the services, I brushed the dust of my frontend skills and implemented a landing page that we used to spread the word with various marketing techniques. This eventually was integrated as part of the main landing page when we were satisfied enough with the solution.
Impact
Now, over 30,000 signatures and roughly five years of continuous development later, the core flow and key elements of the service remain largely unchanged—a testament to the solid foundation we built with the MVP.

Other Contributions
I also contributed to improving the business platform and supporting strategic initiatives.
Visual overhaul and design system
With the introduction of a new visual identity at Posten, I redesigned the platform, key workflows and landing pages to reflect the updated brand. I also facilitated the implementation of a component library, ensuring consistent design and efficient development across the service.
Stakeholder Collaboration
As Norway’s official digital signature service for the public sector, stakeholder collaboration was critical. I worked closely with key stakeholders to understand their needs and translated their requests into pragmatic solutions that aligned with our limited development resources.
Strategic Product Support
Beyond design, I contributed to product development by introducing OKRs to align team efforts and prioritise impactful improvements.
